Dell has become the first to receive the Studio 14 which is the company’s first sub-15 inch studio model. The new design puts a 14 inch 1280 x 800 display with an LED backlight into the more upscale design of the series and customizable with any of seven different lid colors. It has the features including 2.1GHZ Core2Duo, 2GB RAM and 250 GB hard drive.
However the system is relatively minimal in graphics with the earlier version GMA X3100 for video. Moreover it brings the Vista Home Premium and at the cost of $1,040 US. But it is not sure that where it is going to be launched first.

Lenova is one of the biggest laptop manufacturers in the world is in the motto to feature a Dual Screen laptop called Thinkpad W700DS. Lenova has decided to give more details about its future model laptops. A new model dual screen laptop with 17 inch primary screen, a 20.6 inch secondary screen, a core 2 Quad QX9300 processor at the speed of 2.53GHz, 8Gb of memory, 960GB SATA HDD –storage space.
Moreover you will have a built in WACOM digitizer and two Display Port video adapters as well as dual-link DVI. The news from Lenova says that most of the users are using two monitors at their desktop so that they have decided to launch Dual Screen laptops.

Usually Lenova’s IdeaPad U8 MID only allows its own Linux-Based OS and comes with 800MHz processor and 4.8-Inch WVGA touchscreen. Now it supports to work with both Windows XP and Linux as dual boot.
Since the U8 lacks a hardware keyboard it offers a semi transparent split QWERTY keyboard layers onto each side of display and lets you hold the MID with your fingers and type with your thumbs.
The IdeaPad is unfortunately available only in china at the cost of $730.
